We tested them for four weeks with children ages 6 through 11.

The construction process is the primary engagement. Each figure takes 10-20 minutes to assemble, requiring precise folding and tab insertion. The 2D-to-3D transformation is spatially engaging. The finished figures are charming enough that children displayed them proudly.
